Gunpla Philosophical Question
Jun. 15th, 2019 10:14 pmI wanted a Pale Rider, but I just bought a GM Quel. Can I do with the Quel what I wanted to do with the Pale Rider, or should I just build the Quel stock, or should I mod the Quel in an entirely new direction?

It's really tough to keep up with them all. I belong to bunches, but I don't have time to see a number of them. Some I've let go for months at a time because I can't tell if anything is going on.

I took a walking and jogging course, and stayed with it in Florida for a while, but gave up when I moved here because the terrain isn't friendly for it. People cycle here or hike the trails rather than jog.
I did a 1.5 mile time trial in college. Took me thirteen minutes and change.

Dr. Scribbles is working on a device to move the planets of the Solar system to new orbits. To prove it, he'll set Mercury so its new orbit perpetually eclipses the Institute and puts all those fools "where the sun don't shine".

Depends on him-me of course. I'd probably take him-me to the NASCAR park in Sevierville and let him drive karts and show him why I didn't become a race car driver like he dreamed.
I'm sure I'd have a lot of explaining to do.
And, with as much persuasion as I could muster, I'd tell him to take up Algebra as early as he could get it. That way he could avoid taking years of the wrong math and science classes and actually graduate high school.

My first digital camera--not the Olympus I use now but a no-name thingy I got a dozen years ago or so, back when I had a steady job and income. I never got to figure out how to use it, it was probably incompatible with my systems at the time and I eventually gave it to my brother who probably had as little success as I did with it.
