What's Going On With Me

I've been called to Jury Duty for this term and this week has been my orientation sessions. I have not been assigned to any cases yet. There is the possibility that I may be assigned to a case in another part of the state and have to be sequestered for it, but that decision won't be made till November and I honestly can't give odds. Of course, if I had been in school during this time it would have been a disaster for me...but as the term goes into January I may have to postpone starting class AGAIN and I am not sure the school will let me do it. (And I'll have to re-apply for funding on the presumption that I may not be able to attend. Hmmph.)

Still, if it turns out that I (starting the last week of this month) have dropped off the face of Facebook and LiveJournal, you will know why.
