Came upon the above article via Yahoo. Got me into a conversation with my Mom about her writing of romance novels and what her contemporaries are doing. She was bemoaning the sudden dominance of erotica in e-publishing, and I said back it was a consequence of the Internet and the fact that it is a liberating influence on many people. Still, how many of Mom's fellow writers, putting out erotica now, are going to come out the other side and revalue the experience?
