I build models. I got into anime because of scale models, specifically Robotech.

These are official Macross paint scheme color recipies, courtesy of Gunze Sangyo and an old manual from back when Macross was on broadcast TV in Japan. I used the Robotech names for no other reason than the simple fact that this was originally translated for a Robotech fan forum.

1) Raidar X Medium Khaki: 24 parts Khaki, 1 part Silver, one or two drops of White
2) Raidar X Dark Green: 17 parts Dark Gray, 1 part Brown, 1 part Silver, 1 part Flat Base
3) Raidar X Gun Black: 24 parts Tire Black, 1 part Silver
4) Glaug Light Blue: 14 parts Medium Blue, 4 parts White, 2 parts Silver, 1 part Flat Base
5) Glaug Dark Red: 18 parts Red, 2 parts Flat Base, 1 part Silver, one or two drops Black
6) Robotech Metalblack: 9 parts Jet Exhaust Black (which is slightly metallic), 9 parts Flat Black, 2 parts Flat Base.
7) Excalibur Gray: 9 parts Neutral Gray, 1 part White, 1 or 2 drops of Blue.
8) Excalibur Ash: 9 parts Mahogany (really deep brown/black), 1 part White.
9) Armored Veritech Gray: 19 parts White, 1 part Flat Base, 1 or 2 drops Black, 1 or 2 drops Yellow, 1 or 2 drops Blue.
10) Armored Veritech Dark Blue: 17 parts Navy Blue, 1 part Black, 1 part Blue, 1 part Flat Base.
11) Zentraedi Soft Gray: 18 parts Dark Sea Gray, 2 parts White, 1 part Silver
12) Battlepod Pale White: 9 parts White, 1 part Flat Base, one or two drops Black, one or two drops Yellow
13) Battlepod Metal Blue: 6 parts Navy Blue, 4 parts Blue, 1 part Flat Base, one or two drops Silver

33) Zentraedi Silver: 19 parts Blue-Gray, 1 part Flat Base (in practice I expect a few drops of Silver Metallic would be all right too)
