Overnight I got a call from Mike Birchfield, my Sempai...at least I call him that, I don't know if anybody else does. I met him through a directory printed in Protoculture Addicts back in 1990 or maybe a little earlier than that.
Anyway, he was leafing through his address book and called me because I was on the top of the list. We hadn't talked in at least six months. I've been gone from Florida for years and we still kinda miss each other.
He tells me that he wants to get his own computer. I fear for the Internet's collective sanity once he gets online.
