Hey.
On another LJ user's post the other day, he made a remark about a Bruce Springsteen song on his iPod, and that led me to make an observation about the intersections of music and meaning--and geography.
You see, from the first moment I was driven around in a car that had a radio inside, I've had the habit of iconizing places by songs. Neighborhoods gained their meanings to me this way, and this has always been a private thing for me.
I don't know if anybody else has this habit. Something to look into, I guess.
