My Disconnect With Hollywood

I was just looking over Yahoo!'s Movie information, as the promised film from Saturday would have been V For Vendetta, and I was curious to see what else might appeal to me. VFV just BARELY appeals to me, for the record.
Guess what?--NONE of the movies in release now, or pending, speaks to me AT ALL. If Hollywood ever made movies that made me want to go see them, it is not now.
And as a night at the theater costs about the same as a DVD of a classic movie, I'd rather find the classic and watch it where I am, even if I have to do it alone.
Anybody else feel the same way?
