What's the Deal?

Hey.
Tonight I was watching Deal or No Deal because it was the only watchable thing on TV (I HATE Basketball) and was attempting to play along with the woman...
It was down to her case and four on stage, and the deal was for about $150,000. She had been goaded into the last refusal, and was probably feeling lucky, but I was looking at the situation and saying "DEAL--You have to DEAL!"
She blew it. Went home with a measly five grand. (Granted, at this point in my life, $5000 could solve a bunch of problems for me.) But if it had been me, and I were in that situation, I proved that I would come out ahead, if not on top all the way.
Okay, the odds are astronomical that you could pick the million dollar case for your own. But as the cases are opened, the odds of getting busted get closer and closer to certainty. That's enough of a gauge for the ultimate judgment call.
Of course, if I were playing, I'd have brother D.William in charge of the math and Mum in charge of the witch surgery. And then I'd be nigh unstoppable.

And in my second and last impulse purchase for the week, (thanks to my AFAIK non-LJ buddy Paploo) I got a HGUC Gyan model kit at Wally in Morristown. Paploo sent me there to check on the availability of Star Wars "Saga" figures, and I noticed the kit in the clearance aisle. Maybe, as I got it on the day of Patty, I'll finish it in Notre Dame colors.
