Duke Cunningham (And a Gratuitous Meme)

I know the news about him has probably gotten everwhere by now. I'm not going to mention much about his predicament or how he got into it, as that's now going to be explored in detail by the courts.

I live most of the way across the country from him. I didn't agree with many of his stated opinions on policies. I had little in common with him. But strangely enough, I have a link to him.

In Vietnam, he commanded my mother's cousin (David Bunnell) into battle. That alone should earn my respect...but he earned even more of it by owning up to what he had done, while the whole world watched.
