I am connected to my ISP using an alternate phone route and it seems to work better. Which means that the problem isn't with ISP or our local lines but with some other link in the infrastructure somewhere. Still, that's little consolation and I really want somebody to throw down some high-speed line in front of Rather Manor soon.
