I spend the evening (when not watching Numb3rs) at the Columbia House DVD Club's site, filling out the Wishlist (which is a sort of Shopping Cart before the Shopping Cart). I'm basically doing this to strategize. The way their system works, you have to buy a DVD at regular price to get the rest of your order at a discount. Some DVDs don't get a discount. So the best way to "play" is to always get a cheap DVD that doesn't get discounted and use that as the "anchor" for the rest of the order.
Right now I have 42 titles in the Wishlist, ranging from Dances With Wolves to Woodstock to the set of Wallace and Grommit featurettes. We just sent in our latest order to them last week, so we probably won't order again till late November or December...if that. But at least we'll be ready.
