nick_101. I got the letter H.
1) Helium balloons. Tremendous fun. I'd probably marry the first woman who gives me a bouquet of balloons for my birthday.
2) Heavy Metal Guy, a very funny Flash cartoon by mondominishows.com
3) High Grade Universal Century model kits. These are Gundam models in 1/144th scale, better than the original releases of their subjects--although some (like the Blue Destiny series, for one) are new.
4) Honor Harrington (and the Honorverse) science-fiction/war novels. Written by David Weber, more than ten books in the series and all of them great can't-put-them-down reads.
5) Harlock, the space pirate king of Leiji Matsumoto anime. The bow of his ship Arcadia is one of my LJ avatars. A friend gave me the set of the Noo invasion series on DVD, and I have to get in the habit of watching them.
6) Heavy Gear Blitz, the tabletop wargame by Dream Pod 9. Want to get into playing that.
7) Hockey. Granted, I love the Olympics tournament better than the NHL...but if there's a Penguins or Lightning match on TV, I'll do my best to watch.
8) Hernando County, FL. I lived there longer than I've lived anywhere else, and I still miss it just about every day. Granted, I'm not so sure I'd live there again if I had the chance to move back to Florida.
9) Heinlein. The grandmaster of science-fiction and one of my primary influences in the genre.
10) Hawker Typhoon. Big nasty strike-fighter plane of WW2. The only one still around is in a museum, and nobody remembers what its engine sounds like anymore. But I wouldn't want to be in a Panzer on the Western Front and hear any of them coming.
Comment and I'll give you a letter; then you have to list 10 things you love that begin with that letter. Afterwards, post this in your journal and give out some letters of your own.
