Shrapnel From The Imploding Galaxy

I just spent a few hours tonight trolling web.archive.org and the loose remains of the dead Wizkidsgames.com website for information about where Mechwarrior (Clickytech) was going in terms of "story". And who was doing what/allied with whom. Even the factions have factions.

There are a few factions (Clan Sea Fox?) that I can find almost nothing about. What were these game creators thinking? :/

Maybe I'll arrange my army along factional alliance lines, or just repaint everything and leave well enough alone. Or a combination of the two. Hmmph.

There's hardly any point for me. I live in the boonies, nobody invites me to parties (and justifiably, if I have to say so) and I don't have an obligation to dress up through work or school. I've done the cosplay thing at one sci-fi convention, and it was a mediocre experience that I don't care to repeat.

My sempai in Florida is a huge fan of cosplay and sends me disks with hundreds of pictures of other fans in costume...and I'm too old and too poor and too lacking in talent to pull that level of stagecraft off.
