Sagittarius Horoscope for week of August 20, 2009

I'd like to discuss The Game. Do you know what I mean? I'm talking about The Unnamed Game. The Uber-Game that is so vast and all-encompassing that it's virtually a secret. What if you discovered that one of the seemingly sacrosanct rules of The Game was really just a local ordinance, and no longer applied if you played in a different arena or at a higher level? And what if I said that in this different arena or higher level, new allies are poised to introduce you to loopholes and shortcuts you never imagined existed?

The truth is I am going to have to ask the powers that be at Tech Center in a very direct manner which rules apply and which do not in my case. I'm not ready to be a full-time student again, and between previously-made committments and current problems, it would be wise for me to postpone starting classes to January. But I don't know if I can do this without penalty. I feel like I was rushed to enrollment unnecessarily. I want to know my options. So I'm going back to campus soon to hash it out with them.

Middle kid. Perpetually in the shadow of my extroverted and super-cool older sister, and always having to "behave" to be a positive influence on my younger brother.

Relief

Met with the Tech Center student counselor a couple hours ago and was able to reset my schedule so I can start my courses in January, and I won't be penalized because I haven't started yet and my tuition credit will carry forward. Huge load off my mind. Not only can I continue to be there for my parents' needs, I have four months rather than two weeks to assemble my toolkit and books--which will also be a challenge.

PS: What if I told you that when I was living in Florida, Peachtree was next to a horse ranch and we used to get spectacular scenes of horseplay outside our windows every so often? Or that the owner of Peachtree also set it up as a horse ranch? Both are true.
