On This Particular Thursday...
Jun. 19th, 2008 04:45 pm1) Sempai Mike called. Wanted to make sure that I got something he sent me, and then went on to his usual ramble about Masters of the Universe action figures (which I have never gotten into) and Saturday Night Live (which I find despicable). At least I couldn't understand half of what he speaks because of his lousy cordless telephone.
2) Went to a car dealership to run down a promo and came away with...a vinyl cooler with a built-in AM/FM radio. My thinking was that maybe I'll take the radio out of it and use the cooler portion as part of my travel kit. It matches my duffels, my toiletry bag and my CD wallet.
It's sometimes hard to tell these nice, earnest salemen that we are happy with the cars we have and that they're all already paid off and so on. Sometimes.
3) The motorcycle mob is inbound for Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for this weekend. Many hundreds of them. I guess they picked a nice time to do it.
