Sky Crawlers is an upcoming anime from Mamoru Oshii, famous for Ghost in The Shell, Jin-Roh, Patlabor, Angel's Egg and other such anime. It promises to unite the "politics of love and violence" theme of his earlier works with the alternate history/Japanoid setting of Wings of Honneamise.

Ever since becoming a full-fledged anime fan, I've wanted to be a voice player for a dub, but I don't know if I have the chops for it. Then again, I hear how childish I sound when I play back my Amateur Hour (radio deejay for a night) tape...perhaps I could specialize as a teenager.

And of course, I'm a mechahead. Maybe if they dub Dougram I could play Krinn. My dream would be to play Merowlink in a dub of Armor Hunter Merowlink...if I channel my rage I might be able to pull that off. He doesn't speak all that much anyway...at least in the episodes I've seen.

If there was a Tigers of Terra TV series, I'd love to be in it...but the closest character to me I've seen in it is that greedy pervert Mr. Cavalier.
