For a Holiday Weekend...
Sep. 3rd, 2007 02:28 am...This has been rather depressing.
Mom was looking forward to the golf coverage today only to learn that the local NBC affiliate is showing the Jerry Lewis telethon instead. I can't help but share in her disappointment.
I have a feeling the Craig scandal is going to infest the politics for some time still. Craig himself may be out, but what's going to happen next? Will there be a witch hunt in the Republicans? The Dems are going through another scandal of their own, but they can still turn up the heat.
As for me, if anybody says to me "You're either for us or against us" I shall tell them right back "You're against me till you prove otherwise."
