Byte In a Sling
Nov. 7th, 2005 10:21 amI am posting this from the Dandridge Public Library. My mother's computer crashed Thursday afternoon and my own followed suit less than eight hours later. Both compies are in the repair shop now but I hope at least one of them will be back operational by tomorrow.
I coped with the loss of the Outside World by reading. I made a list of all the movies from Leonard Maltin's TV Movies (1994 Edition) that earned a perfect Four Star rating...it came to eleven pages worth. Perhaps I'll type it up and post here, and update it when I can get a new Maltin. The idea was that I can hunt for DVDs, and try to assemble a super collection.
I also read a lot of science-fiction, namely Heinlein and William Gibson.
I plan to spend the next hour catching up on cyberspace.
