Now I REALLY Feel Old

Just found the "Schools" tool for LJ, and I entered in "Springstead" and "West Hernando Middle" for a couple...then looked up who's from Springstead.
Bunch of people.
Most of them born AFTER I went there. To quote Heinlein's Jubal Harshaw in Number of the Beast, "There occasionally comes a day when I do not feel obsolete. They've been scarce lately."
I had been toying with a piece about grandmothers and cheap comic books, but I suppose I'll save it for another time.
