Top of the Line, Bottom of the Basement
Oct. 21st, 2005 04:42 pmHey.
Just bought a couple pieces of home electronics...one for this house, one for my brother as a housewarming/birthday gift. Anyway, they're from a Salvage place that's going out of business, so these came sans box, sans power cables, sans manuals, sans etc. After dinner I'm taking one to the local RadShack to see if they can provide the cables. For the rest, I'll have to write the manufacturer. (PS: RadShack had the cables, but we just had to get a clueless salesman first. Not naming names...)
But this is one of the best in the business. And I got these for about a third or even a quarter of the initial MSRP. So I bet we'll be happy with them. I won't specify what they are till my brother gets his, which (if all goes well) will be tomorrow.
More to come. (PS: I wrote the manufacturer using their on-site e-mail function. So I should get a response from them tomorrow or Monday, in all probability.)
