...Such is my obsessive streak.
Tuesday evening was the local IPMS meet, so while there one of the other modelers told me he wanted to build a model Pitts Special and so for overnight and today I worked on the idea. No mainstream plastic display model manufacturer has done a Pitts since L&S in the 1970s/80s. And the L&S was/is a tiny 1/72nd scale thing. On the other side of the scale are the large and expensive kits for remote-control operation. As the guy in question is a car fanatic with a huge collection in 1/25th scale, I thought it behooved me to find a happy medium.
This may be it. Plans for a small (but still bigger than what I need) remote-controlled model, but possibly an easy conversion to the scale I want.
