We Were Ready For Them...

frustratedpilot...But we didn't see any. Trick-or-Treat kids. No surprise, really, as the weather was windy and rainy, and these days the kids go to church or school parties--at least the ones from around here.
We had a dish of chocolate bars and some of my toy balloon stash (oranges and whites) on a table at the front door. You never know. It's not like they call to make reservations or anything.
I think I only did Trick-or-Treating five times in my life. We moved to "the country" when I was twelve and it was then that part of my childhood was over. Sure, I'd dressed up in costume for school Halloween celebrations, but that's not the same.
