Reconnecting

I want to talk to my regular readers about someone I just reconnected with. Their LJ handle istheidolhands...
I've known this person from years before I got connected to the Internet. TIH and & were pen-pals, although I have to admit that at the start, we were at opposite sides of a little issue that TIH was more passionate about than I was. We never met physically. We "met" as pen-pals because of my sempai, Mike Birchfield, and his "Anime Gossips" column for Protoculture Addicts, of which I was a minor contributor. Well, anyway, TIH and I had our disagreement, I apologized, we "kissed and made up", and I've valued TIH's friendship ever since. TIH's support kept me sane in the time I needed a kindly ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on. But because of one thing or another, we fell out of touch and I missed TIH a great deal in that era of darkness.
So us reconnecting is a reason for joy and hope for me. I'm here for you...and thank you for being there for me.
