Five years after the Declaration of Independence, the American Revolution was over.
Five years after the Attack on Fort Sumter, the Civil War was over.
Five years after the Attack on Pearl Harbor, World War Two was over.
Five years after the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, we were still at war in Vietnam...and we eventually LOST.
So my prevaling wisdom...America will either LOSE this alleged War on Terror, or have to fight it FOREVER. There is NO answer. At least as we hold to our alleged principles and don't engage in genocide.
