frustratedpilotAs people who read my Facebook have seen, I'm in Pennsylvania and I visited my grandfather's "permanent address" in Ellwood City, and the house I used to live in near Pittsburgh. The man who owns the latter place now is nearly my age, and could easily be John Lipinski/Lipin III's elder brother.
What the heck...
Also went to the site of the Bairdford Elementary School...nothing there but goldenrods, a gravel trace of the parking/unloading area, a lonely fire hydrant and a rusting backstop fence for the baseball park. It would have been nice if the township could have kept it up as a park or something, but it doesn't surprise me.
Today will be a day of rest and recoup. And laundry. And planning for other excursions.
