The Question Of The Day post I put up on the 1st somehow got corrupted by an embedded advertisement set there after the fact. I can't delete the message or edit it. I'd complain to LJ but I doubt there's much they can do about it themselves. Meanwhile, I replied to nick_101's comment in said thread thusly:

Just thought up an idea for Ninja GALS--

"This just in: a downtown meatpacking plant was burglarized overnight. The thieves made off with five tons of bacon that was ready for shipment to a restaurant chain kitchen facility. We're sending you to our reporter on the scene--"

I still haven't gotten Mum's e-mail back for her--or even her "Bejeweled 2" for her!--and I'm not liking myself for having this slump happen at an unhelpful time.
