Writer's Block: You Don't Know Me

Probably Top Gun. It's not that I dislike it now, it's just that I don't like it now anywhere near as much as I did when it came out. On the radio I was hearing another film director (Martin Scorsese?) some time ago describe Top Gun as a homoerotic movie, and I think there's a lot of truth in that. Meanwhile, "Dangerzone" has been overplayed, Tom Cruise has gotten weird and hard to like, and there have been dozens of dumber wanna-be movies (Mach Two? Stealth? Aces: Iron Eagle III?).
