Wildlife

I saw a black mouse (as in rodent, not computer equipment) on the floor in our kitchen, running from behind the fridge to behind the stove. This was perhaps a couple hours ago.

I got some rat kill bait from Dad's box under the sink and sprinkled it behind the stove without actually looking that direction. Dunno if what was there will be enough to do the job.

I know we should have more humane ways to deal with vermin here but my parents are old country types not obliged to be kind to such animals.
