There Ought To Be A Law!

What I propose: A prohibition on Christmas music on stores' public address speakers before November 11th. The only exemption being places whose purpose in being is year-round Christmas merchandising (like Rogers Christmas House in Brooksville, FL or Incredible Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge, TN).

It's bad enough that stores begin to put up holiday decor before Halloween. The holiday shopping season is way too long already. After Thanksgiving, I could barely tolerate. Before Veterans' Day is just uncalled for.

If a merchant complains about my idea I'll just call him unpatriotic in a time of war.
