Even though I'm not an actor, I was given a bit part in a movie...playing the role of a Hollywood actor. The character I was playing had made an insane fortune on starring in ONE blockbuster movie but had never actually broken into the A-list. He was very comfortably wealthy but antsy about working again and trying to avoid being typecast.

For the scene, I was wearing the latest designer clothes. My hair (and since its length was what attracted me to the people in charge of casting, it was kept long when it was styled!) was dyed and I had artificial suntan makeup on my face and neck. I wore very dark wayfarer sunglasses. And the director had me sit on a phone book to make me look taller.

In my scene, I was being interviewed by the central character of the movie. Casting director? Reporter? Scriptwriter? Good buddy? General schmoozer? I can't remember. I was telling him that I didn't need a trailer or a hotel room as I just bought a house close to the location for the shoot.

I don't remember much more of it.
