...A proofreader/critiquer I could trust. So I could go over the current compiled manuscript of "Chillin' Out" and see better what needs to stay and what needs to go.

For weeks I was agonizing over a certain sequence towards the end of the story. It didn't advance the plot much. It didn't really add anything new I hadn't done. But it was really fun to write.

I tried cutting the scene out, but the next scene didn't work once it was gone.

The book is already too long, and I still need to write the last chapter. So something has to go. Bah.

Writing is tough but editing is tougher.
