Dreams and The Internet

My dreams have been very strange for a long time. I've been perpetually trapped in adolescence, wandering shopping plazas, crawling over bookshelves and piles of merchandise...trying to figure out what I want...
...I think I'm dreaming about my relationship with the Internet. Would having a more modern connection make me "adult"? Would having actual money to spend over the Web do it? Ten years on and I'm still some sort of Internet "child"? Is the Internet the ONLY life I can find worthwhile anymore?
I hate this line of thought, but I can assure you that all the other thoughts currently running through my mind are worse that this. Hideously worse.
