--And You'll Find Out Why a Duck!
Nov. 2nd, 2006 03:15 amYes, I'm weird.
It's a coincidence I contrived myself, but I didn't think about it till now.
My current scale model project is an Airfix Grumman Duck seaplane kit that I got from a flea market years ago. The original owner got a good share of the way through the build, then just gave up. He didn't do such a great job with the glue or the paint, but that makes it easier for me to get it done the way I want. I'm removing the old paint with a combination of Easy Lift-Off and Windex, switching back and forth between the two. I'll probably repaint it very quickly and use decals from my spares collection.
The other side of the coincidence? I got my latest shipment from the Columbia House DVD club yesterday. Included--the box set with the first five Marx Brothers features. So now I have the question...years after the answer.
