What Was He Thinking?
Jul. 16th, 2006 12:00 amMy father bought a cell phone at a dollar store (I know that's a bad joke in itself) and overnight he was goading me into trying to help him activate his account, which 1) I had no experience 2) I had no INTEREST or DESIRE to do.
The man only goes out the neighborhood twice a week or so. And who needs to contact him so urgently?
The house and the cell are on different area codes, so the guy is Long Distance from himself. He got it working, on his own, so good for him for what that's worth. But I feel reaffirmed in my wisdom for avoiding the things as long as I have.
