The Reason For Yesterday's Blog
Jul. 3rd, 2006 04:49 pmWhy the answers were the question? The idea was on how people relate themselves to the unknowable, or, for lack of a better word, the divine.
Is your faith the "Please" faith, that you feel the need for the powers that be to help you get what you need done?
Or is it the "Thank you" of gratitude for what you have?
Or is it the "Or else!" fear that somebody bigger than you has you in the crosshairs of the Smite Machine, and you'd do anything for the circumstances to be otherwise?
My own faith seems to be split between "Please" and "Or else!"
