Money, Music and Memory

Hey.

On a forum I belong to, a couple of my RL buddies were trying to talk me into going with them to GenCon in Indianapolis in August. I said, "No tengo dinero"...and remembered where I learned that phrase.

For you younger folks, there was a hit song in Europe by that title by a New Wave band named Righeira. I saw the music video to that on the syndicated TV show Night Flight. My curiosity reawakened, I did a Google, and came upon a YouTube of the video itself. The song is pretty catchy, and the video is a neat piece of rotoscoping and animation. Makes me wonder if there are any available DVDs with the video included.

Still, "no tengo dinero". *shrug*
