Something I Miss

I just replied in a game of E-Mail tag with one of my Florida RL buddies...and I realized one of the things I miss from the data I lost when my previous computer crashed.
Snippets of anime.
Yes, I still have bunches of anime on DVD and VHS. But once upon a time, I knew of this one website where they'd review an anime and post a title sequence or scene from it. And since I only have dial-up, I'd be downloading for an hour or more a viddy clip of maybe a minute or so.
So it was the effort involved that made the clips themselves dear.
I don't know if I even still have the URL. If I had the URL, I could look up using Wayback Machine, and maybe find something. But then as I still only have dial-up, replacing the clips will take that much more effort.
Maybe I should just get the VHS machine back operational and ruminate upon the issue a while. Mum tells me I'm good at rumination.
