Not So Tubular
Sep. 27th, 2005 12:18 amHey.
Looking over the DVD-ized TV shows that are available through the family Columbia House club account tonight. I liked about a page and a quarter's worth of what I saw, mainly British imports and mystery shows. My taste in TV is about like my taste in everything else--there are a lot of things I like that aren't popular with the masses, and a lot of things that are popular I don't care about. I guess there's no point in complaining that I can't get The Equalizer or Due South or Simon & Simon now because perhaps they'll be released sometime later, but what if they aren't? Something wrong with me if I liked Nash Bridges or the Malcolm McDowell version of Fantasy Island?
More and more I feel that mass culture doesn't want anything to do with me anymore.
At least I can blog.
