Tyranny of Numbers...Again
Aug. 27th, 2005 12:47 amHey.
One of my favorite programs from my previous computers has been the graphics program LViewPro. And so I'm getting the latest version for King Kong...only it's been changed in the time since I got the original (for me) as a bonus in the suite of programs I got from my ISP starter CD-ROM.
One trick I love to do with the older LViewPro is to take a monochrome picture and quasi-colorize it using the hue adjustment tools.
I can't figure this trick with the new version. If the picture is already in color, no problem. But if it's black-&-white, no go.
At least I still have the older version on my mother's compy. I guess I can transfer it to this compy if I really need it. But now I'm weighing the wisdom in the prospect of spending $40 to register a program that doesn't do what I want of it.
