The Wiki-Yer-Birthdate Meme
About four or five folks in my Friends circle are doing this:
"Go to Wikipedia. In the Search box, type your birth month and day (but not year). List three events that happened on your birthday. List two important birthdays and one interesting death. Post this in your journal."
Events:
* Glenn Miller's disappearance (1944)
* U.S. Bill of Rights ratified by Virginia, becomes law (1791)
* Battle of Ticameron, between the Vandals and the Romans (533 AD)
Births:
* Paul Simonon of The Clash (1955)
* Don Johnson (1949)
* Emperor Nero (37 AD)
Deaths:
* Walt Disney (the day I was born)
* Sitting Bull (1890)
* Fats Waller (1943)
(Okay, so I'm going three for three. Take your pick as to what's "important" and what's "interesting".)
