Tonight, I learned that the latest version of IrfanView plus the latest version of the PLUG-INs for IrfanView will let you play YouTube content offline.
I bet a lot of you already knew that. But I didn't. And now I know how to HOARD.
(After you play the vid on YouTube, close your browser and then look for it in your browser's cache file. The filename will start with "get_video". Copy it to another folder, then re-name it [whatever title works for you] with the suffix .flv. IrfanView, thanks to the Plug-Ins, will recognize it and play it when you access it.)
I'm going to try to make a habit of downloading as many vids per day as I can. With my connection speeds, tho'...that isn't going to be very many.
