Research Addict Hits the Walls
Remember that buddy of mine in Knoxville who had me worried at about Xmas time? He usually builds car models, but he wants to make a model of this:

So anyway, I'm rooting through the old magazines I have looking up pictures. And scanning them. And editing them. And probably printing them all out.
And then I'll have to look up a good Mustang model for him to start with. And a source for the canopy. And a source for decals.
Fine Molds in Japan had a Dago Red model in production years ago, but it's out of their catalog now. I just wrote them asking if they still had decals available.
It's also available as a working remote-controlled model kit. I doubt my buddy is interested in that, but who knows?
