What I just told Mom:
"I'd have gotten up earlier (this morning) but the dream pirates hijacked my sleep. They wouldn't let me go unless I had defeated their Captain in single combat, and helped them plunder a truckload of ice cream."
Mom said back, "There's a book in there somewhere."
