Internal Messes
Mar. 31st, 2008 01:10 amI've been experiencing two internal messes this weekend. As the first one is too gruesome and painful to inflict upon my reading public, I'll only relate the second one.
After my previous Income Tax Returns got rejected this season, I got a notice from the IRS that I may in fact qualify for the Earned Income Credit that was denied me the two previous times, and get a refund as a consequence. SHEESH. I'm sending the form back to them today. If I actually get the refund, fine. If I don't, it's not going to hurt me too badly.
This is the third year in a row they've given me this runaround. My financial situation is changing this year, one way or another, so I doubt I'll have this problem again. But if I don't find steady income, the IRS will be the least of my worries.
