Do you live your life, or just record it and try to experience it in reruns?
Back when I was a kid I'd fantasized about going into cryo for a few decades and what swag I'd be able to acquire from my compound interest. Oddly, I'm happier that it wasn't possible then (and isn't possible now) even with the horror of how my waking life has treated me in the passing years. But I may be the last generation with the freedom/curse of things being forgotten. The kids who are young now or just being born?--They won't be able to avoid all their memories. Someone, somewhere, already has them documented.
